Thirteen ‘Young Professionals’ became part of the SAJIDA Family after a successful completion of the recruitment program on 27th October, 2019. The Young Professionals started their journey at SAJIDA with a three-day orientation program, which was designed with different interactive sessions to give them a comprehensive idea on SAJIDA’s values and contribution. The program ended with a session where the senior management shared SAJIDA’s vision and purpose with the family members of the Young Professionals. SAJIDA’s Executive Director, Ms. Zahida Fizza Kabir also discussed the future opportunities that await Young Professionals at SAJIDA in the long run and also the management’s expectations from them. Currently the YPs have been placed in their first assignments on the field to gain functional knowledge as well as hands-on experience. The thirteen young professionals were selected through multiple phases of intensive screening out of 700 applicants.
SAJIDA Foundation’s Young Professional Program is designed to provide talented and dynamic youth the opportunity to make a difference through a fast-track career path in the development sector. The program is a great opportunity to build expertise through an immersive training experience inclusive of on-the-job training, classroom exercise and one-to-one mentoring.
