SAJIDA Mental Health Program (S-MHP) Holds Roundtable Discussion on Building Sustainable Mental Health Service

On 17th February, S-MHP held a roundtable discussion on ‘Building Sustainable Mental Health Service” with multisectoral stakeholders from World Health Organization (WHO), Departments of Clinical psychology and Counselling Psychology from University of Dhaka, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, BRAC, CRP, Kaan Pete Roi, HSBC, Unilever, Suchona Foundation and NHS.

With a vision to provide quality mental health services to individuals from all socio-economic strata in a comprehensive manner, the event highlighted the key learnings from recent initiatives, identified priority focus areas and accepted expert opinions from the esteemed guests, all of whom resonated with SAJIDA’s ideas on mental health service needs and emphasis on the importance of developing sustainable mental health services.
