SAJIDA Attends COP27

SAJIDA Foundation participated in COP27 held at Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCDM) team organized a session discussing avenues towards resilience through Locally-led Adaptation, efficient land use patterns in agriculture and pairing Nature Based Solution for sustainable growth for climate vulnerable communities.

Dr Samiya Selim, Advisor, CCDM and Mahmuda Akter, Senior Research Officer, CCDM attended COP27. Alongside, Dr Samiya joined as speaker, in panel discussions held by The Climate Justice and American Geophysical Union. SAJIDA aims to become a one-stop-platform to deliver high impact solutions, building resilience and coping mechanisms of climate vulnerable communities.
