The Buddhist co-operative credit society inaugurated the opening ceremony of VERMI compost plan in Kadalpur, Rauzan, Chattogram on June 22nd . Primarily they setup 20 ps Ring in 10 set. The funding of this vermi compost was from The Buddhist co-operative credit society and technically advised by SAJIDA Foundation’s Agri unit Team. This type of compost fertilizer in a religious organization, is first of its kind in Bangladesh, which was encouraged by Thai Monks who in Chattogram and, initiated by Vadanta Shasana Rakkhit Vikkhu. The credit society has 16000 members and 6000 borrowers. This vermi compost will be disseminate in these members who are engaged in Agricultural Activities. In this inaugurate program Chief guest was Devkusum Barua, Focal Person-Agri Unit, Special guest Md. Jashim Uddin Agriculture Officer and Md. Jashim Uddin Area Manager from SAJIDA Foundation. Here whole process of vermi compost was shown by practically and lecture to audience.
