SAJIDA’s Elder Care Program takes its first step towards growing its homecare community through First Community Townhall event held on 14 November presided by Ms. Anne Whelan; CEO of Seafair Capital; who spoke about the recent improvements, challenges, and more importantly, the future of home healthcare in Bangladesh. Graced by the presence of SAJIDA Foundation’s Patron, Mrs Sajida Humayun Kabir, and Executive Director, Mrs Zahida Fizza Kabir, the event was attended by a diverse group of clients and beneficiaries who were able to engage in discussions, network, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres.
Ms. Anne Whelan, spokesperson of the session, is an industry expert in the field of home healthcare in Canada. She is a recipient of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Medal winner for her contributions to home care and on the list of Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada.
SAJIDA’s Elder Care Program – a separate private limited company, has been speciﬁcally designed to address the needs of the elderly and chronically ill who often require compassionate health care at home, through three tiers of care packages including associated services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical and transportation services, provided by trained and compassionate caregivers.
